Welcome to Reflection Guitars. These terms and conditions govern the services provided by Reflection Guitars. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Instructional, hands-on guitar setup and maintenance classes where students work on their own instruments under guidance.
For setup classes, students must bring an instrument in functional working order (e.g., no broken headstocks, lifting bridges, or non-functioning truss rods) unless coupled with a class specifically designed to address those repairs. Reflection Guitars reserves the right to reject an instrument deemed unfit for the class context.
Reflection Guitars provides no warranty on work performed by students during a class. Because the student is executing the adjustments, the student assumes all risk for the outcome of their adjustments. Reflection Guitars will provide expert guidance, but is not responsible for student errors.
In the unlikely event of accidental damage to your instrument while directly in the hands or care of Reflection Guitars staff, our liability is limited to the fair market value of the instrument at the time of the damage. Reflection Guitars reserves the first right to repair the instrument at no cost. If repair is not feasible, compensation up to the fair market value will be provided in exchange for ownership and possession of the damaged instrument.
Reflection Guitars reserves the right to require a deposit or full payment upfront to secure and reserve your class time block. Reflection Guitars reserves the right to request and collect payment ahead of instruction at our discretion.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 2 days or more prior to the scheduled class will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Cancellations made less than 2 days prior to the class date may result in a forfeiture of the deposit at our discretion.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a class due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances. In this rare event, any deposits paid will be 100% refunded or fully transferred to a future date.
Reflection Guitars respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the service process will be used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
By participating in a class, you grant Reflection Guitars permission to take photographs or video recordings of the class environment (which may include your likeness and your instrument) for use in promotional materials, social media, and website marketing. If you wish to opt out of media coverage, you must notify the instructor before the class begins.
The parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or the services provided by Reflection Guitars through good faith negotiations. If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days, they agree to submit the matter to non-binding mediation with a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Lee County, Florida.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, the parties agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Lee County, Florida, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Each party shall bear their own costs and expenses incurred in connection with mediation and arbitration, including attorney's fees, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Reflection Guitars for any claim arising out of or relating to the services shall not exceed the fair market value of the instrument at the time the claim arose. These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
By scheduling or attending an in-person appointment or class at Reflection Guitars, the customer acknowledges that the business operates out of a residential garage workshop where tools, machinery, sharp objects, and other potentially hazardous equipment are present.
The customer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with visiting the premises and participating in hands-on class instruction, including but not limited to accidental contact with tools or materials, lacerations, burns, eye injuries, slips, trips, falls, other injuries, or exposure to dust and chemical fumes. Reflection Guitars and its owner(s) shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained while on the property.
By agreeing to these terms, the customer/student releases Reflection Guitars and its affiliates/property owners from all liability related to personal injury or property damage incurred during the visit.
Reflection Guitars reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
